Yay for unemployement ...

According to a statement by Zee White House, the unemployment rate is going to drop to 8.5% today. Woo hoo. In other news, millions of Americans don't believe it and think this is a lie based on fabricated numbers. Almost as amazing as the announcement yesterday that we are going to slice our military in half. Now, let me think, what are going to happen to those jobs? Unemployment perhaps? 

Seriously, who's driving the car in DC? And if its POTUS, tell him to lay off the booze.  His advisors might be the worst since my High School Student Council Government. Why would you announce job cuts, the day before the unemployement rate comes out? Does he really think we are that stupid to realize that cutting the military might mean job cuts.  And here are some other issues I have with the new "military plan":

• Says there's no need for a two front war -- well, history would tell you other wise and the saber rattling by China and Russia (and let us know forget our muslim extremist friends) doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy about cutting troops and relying on technology.
• Let's focus on technology and drones! Kinda like we did in Iran where they hacked our highest level drone and FLEW IT TO ONE OF THEIR AIR BASES.  They didn't shoot it down, they flew it home. Yup, technology at its finest! 
• Completely agree with the special forces part ... I say we create a whole group of spec of like turn the Marines into Operators. 

Now if the plan for technology includes the creation of Transformers, then I'm all for it.  If we had Spec Ops and Optimus Prime, no one could stop us.Or even Iron Man ... what if we had that?
