Sad news ... Hostess (Twinkees and SnoBalls) is going bankrupt! And the only people we have to blame are those left coast loving, hippy, health eating bastards that are forcing us to eat natural things instead of processed sugar and processed other stuff. Ok, maybe not but that sure was fun to write. Just so sad to hear that the Twinke is going away ... what's next? Moonpies?
But seriously, when you dig deep and see that 85% of the company is union operated, the shock wears off. Personally, I haven't had a Hostess Cupcake in at least 15 years, but I admit that its sad to see one of the reasons I was a fat child, go away. So long empty calories ... I'll just replace you with Nestle Tollhouse.
