I can relate to Scott Hatteberg, except I pitched and didn't play firstbase. Generally speaking, the thing I feared the most was a ball hit back in my general direction because there was an excellent chance I was going to either a) get hit by it or b) hurt it into the outfield at 100 MPH as I wildly threw it to first.
Moneyball -- great movie by the way. Made me really remember all those days I spent in the front office on my PlayStation 3.
