Only in England

I really expected this story to come out of the US, but luckily, our English friends won this match. According to the World's greatest tabloid, The Sun, a "gentleman" in England is in the process of gaining weight to prepare for an upcoming surgery. That's right ... he was too skinny. In fact, he only weighed 280 pounds and now they want him to get closer to 300. Here's the story: Fattening up for weight loss op

And I quote, "Diabetic Darin, 45, was denied a gastric bypass operation after experts said he was not heavy enough to meet criteria to get the life-saving operation for free on the NHS. Now Darin believes the only way he can win his fight to LOSE weight is to EAT his way to 21 stone so he hits the trigger point to allow him to be considered for the surgery."

Thanks, Darin. You've helped England win the crazy story of the day.
